Our second Nerello Mascalese from Passopisciaro is a beautiful single vineyard example of this indigenous Sicilian grape. Aged for 18 months in large oak barrels, the wine is rich and juicy with red fruits and smoky mineral tones. Undeniably from volcanic soils, the minerals notes are balanced by a smoothness and great complexity. The wine will age beautifully for at least 15 years and is perfect served with red meat and rich Pasta dishes
