Great value Cru Bourgeois claret from Haut Médoc from the excellent 2019 vintage. Made from Cabernet Sauvignon with some Merlot and Petit Verdot the wine has a woody spicey nose with heady aromas of cherries and violets. Dark and smooth fruit on the palate with great firm tannins. Decant for an hour and serve with red meats. Drink from now until 2035
