Made from 100% Dolcetto, this wine offers a lighter and slightly sweeter style of wine from Piedmont and is made by a top producer of Barolos, Barberas and Barbarescos. Great purple colour in the glass with a floral, violet like aroma in the glass. On the palate, there are flavours of cherries and plums with a good level of acidity and some spice. Great summer red wine - a perfect lunchtime BBQ red that can also be served a little under room temperature. The tannins are quite prominent so a good one to two hour decant helps soften these out.
