Here we have my standout Brunello producer, Fuligni. Their wines are truly outstanding with a purity of cherry driven fruit that really shines through. Bright ruby red colour in the glass with intoxicating aromas of red fruits - cherries, raspberries and cranberries with a hint of herbs and spices. Medium bodied palate with structured juicy fruit and chalky tannins. Can be drunk young with a long decant but will benefit from long cellaring also. A classically styled yet approachable Brunello, emphasising freshness, elegance, and precision over power.
