Beautiful structured Barolo from Ettore Germano. Shows a deep garnet colour in the glass with complex aromatic aromas of cherry fruit and hints of rose. Very elegant on the palate with a red berry floral fruit profile. As is the profile of the Serralunga terroir, the wine had a powerful backbone with firm tannins. Long and persistent savoury finish - a wine that can be cellared for 15-20 years but has the weight and structure to be consumed young with a good long decant. Pair with strong cheeses, Risotto and all red meats
