Outstanding red Bordeaux from a vineyard that is now up there with the greats and a wine that we always keep a small stock of. If you’re drinking this young I would suggest a good two hour decant and perhaps try half of the bottle on one night and the other the next to try the different flavour profiles that develop. Beautiful aromas of tobacco, leather and a hint of spice. Shows very dark inky colour in the glass and is a very complex wine that seems to change as you drink - especially if you try over two nights. These flavours follow through onto the palate and are matched with great dark cassis and cherry driven fruit. Super smooth and silky wine that will last until 2050 so there’s no hurry to drink!
