This wine was previously the second wine of Château Léoville Poyferré, with the vineyards located on what is considered one of the finest gravel rises in the Médoc. Very aromatic wine with a nose of black cherries and violets. The use of new and old oak adds a spicy complexity to the wine and the finish is long and super smooth. This wine is meant for earlier drinking that it’s bigger brothers - hold until around 2026
