Cesconi Pinot Grigio Vigneti delle Dolomiti 2021/2022

It’s Pinot Grigio, but not as you know it. First had this in an (unnamed) London restaurant and they charged a fortune for it - but it certainly delivered. Now you can drink the best Pinot Grigio I have tried for a fraction of that price. Way more depth and body than you would expect from a wine that is often on the thin and slightly boring side. This wine is far from that, quite rich on the palate and almost Rosé coloured due to grape skin contact and late harvesting. Highly recommended and a very different wine from The Dolomites in North East Italy
