This wine was originated in 2009 when this famous producer acquired the Montebuoni vineyard. “Haiku” is made from a blend of 50% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Franc and 25% Merlot, the wine hence has many characteristics of a right bank Bordeaux wine with an Italian edge. On the palate, the wine displays forest fruits such as raspberry and blackcurrant followed by spice and pepper, wild herbs and tobacco. A very elegant and well-integrated wine which is complex with great length. Drink with beef, lamb and game from now until 2040
