Filo di Seta is a unique expression of Brunello made from grapes that are harvested and selected by hand from Northwesterly facing vineyards at an altitude of approximately 350m. The yields are low and grapes are picked at optimum ripeness to provide a stunning wine with dark savoury cherry fruit and earthiness. Some spices too balanced by great acidity and a very silky texture. Amazing long and rich finish to the wine. Decant for around two hours and drink with beef, lamb, game or poultry and can be cellared up until around 2030 and beyond
