Castello di Neive Barbaresco Santa Stefano 2019

£55.00

Italy - Piedmont - Langhe - Barolo

ABV - 14.5%

Possibly my favourite Barbaresco producer. Their 2006 Santa Stefano Riserva is the highest rated wine to ever leave the shed! Here we have the 2019 Santa Stefano, a 93 point rated Nebbiolo that is just delicious and showcases the elegance and complexity of the grape. Deep ruby red with garnet hues, aromas of red cherries and raspberry. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with well structured ripe red fruits with a long and persistent finish and firm tannins. Depth and finesse even at this early stage. An epic wine that will pair with rich food dishes and can be cellared for over 10 years
