Castelgiocondo (Marchesi de' Frescobaldi) Brunello di Montalcino 2016

Brunello di Montalcino - Montalcino - Tuscany - Italy

ABV - 14.5%

A full-flavoured Brunello from a very good vintage expressing complex aromas of wild berries and sour cherry with spicy notes of cinnamon, tobacco and leather. Velvety tannins envelop the beautifully balanced palate, with a savoury character of red fruits and oak leading to a deliciously long finish. It’s a young Brunello so needs a good long decant - around three hours I would suggest to soften the young acidity and drink from now until beyond 2030. Enjoy with all red meats, game and poultry
